What questions Come To Mind?
Revelation 6: 10
(9) And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
(10) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
(11) And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
As you read about the seals in the Book of Revelation, what questions come into your mind? Certainly we will realize who those people are if we are students of the Bible. I know that only a few people will actually disect the word as I do, but that is really a shame. We only grow in the knowledge of the Lord, by having that investigating spirit as we read.
If as I believe, these are the people who have been martyred for their belief in Jesus Christ. But at any measure they are humans who have left their human bodies and gone on to be with the Lord. So if they know that, what other questions do they have? Based on the question they are asking, we must say the question they ask was drawn from how they rememberd how they got there. That being so then, what else do they remember? They are remembering from the same brain they have always used. That being the case, are they looking around for the rest of their loved ones and wanting to know where they are? If you have been a Christian for any length of time you have either asked or heard asked. Will we be looking for our loved ones that went on ahead of us?
The answer I have always heard is, no if we were to be doing that we would bring sadness and tears into heaven. I believe the teaching of the pastors that only preach part of the word of truth are in for a great surprise. All of Gods word is for the people and too late you will know the God you claim to represent! You have failed to preach the whole word of God and He will hold you accountable for what He has given to be preached. Yes there is a Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ. But there will be some bad days before that happens. But because you have not prepared the people you lead, they will not be prepared for what is to come! You have failed God and those you are the sheperd of.
If you are not a student of the Bible, you have no idea what will overtake you in about a decade or two. The more formal your education the less you will believe about the Bible. But the Bible is truth even though don’t believe it.
The prophecies will come to pass even though you don’t believe so. We are very close to the return of Jesus Christ to get His Church. After that event all hell will break out and for those still her it will truly be hell on earth!
