Do You Know?

Do You Know?

Do you know there is going to be a Rapture or Catching Away of the saved people on planet earth? Actually most who will tell you about it have not given you all of the information. You can’t properly understand this if you don’t get everything God has provided for you. There are those who say it isn’t true that people who hope to escape the great tribulation have made it up. I have even heard pastors from the pulpit say it could happen any minute. That there are no signs or anything to give you a hint when it will happen. Others say it is not in the Bible! However, the single most important thing you will ever decide in your entire life. Is whether or not to become a Christian. God says He loves everybody and wants everyone to be saved. That He loves His name but loves His word even above His name. You need to get a good Bible and research it for yourself. Not all Bibles are created equal and I would suggest you get an Original King James Bible not a New King James Bible. In an effort to make the unserious among us happy. A new version was created and now some meaning of some verses are changed, in my opinion!

The great tribulation period of seven years was created by God especially for one reason and to accomplish one Goal that He had. If you are a Bible student you know that Daniel the prophet wrote of it several thousand years ago. God is going to take the church out of the earth just before His wrath is poured out just before the Seventy Weeks (seven years) and any one who turns to Him during that period will be saved! Those who don’t believe in a Rapture have chosen not to read the whole Bible! To do that is try to pick what the already believe and throw out the rest. God by the way has warned against adding to or taking away from His word.

Daniel 9: 2

(24) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

I will now give you scripture that will give you clarity about the Rapture of the Bride of Christ!

1 Thessalonians 4: 16 thru17 KJV,

(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

(17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Here we see the Lord does not come to the earth but comes to rapture His church (bride).

2nd Thessalonians 2: 1 thru

(1) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

For their own convenience most people who quote this chapter in the Bible. However we will not do that because God tells us He loves His word even above His name!

Here we see Paul telling us of the Rapture where Jesus does not actually come to the ground.

(2) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

(3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Here Paul is telling us to not allow anyone or in any way to deceive us about this as was happening in his day just as it is happening today as actually going on still today! When we look at verse (3) we see that the signs that Paul laid out are partially fulfilled as we have been seeing a falling away for some time. However the, man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, is yet to happen but I believe it will happen shortly! So you can see that those want to see a rapture see the signs and those who don’t just ignore the obvious! To those who claim the Rapture is a relatively new idea, I would ask them relative to what? Then of course we have over fifty scriptures that tell us that this idea belongs to one Jesus Christ! So when they say we just want to escape the tribulation. I would first ask them “what sane person would want to stay here”! Second, shall we take out all scriptures from the Bible that they disagree with? Here are a few more of those scriptures:

John 14:3

(3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 thru 17

(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

(17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:17

(17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

There are just a few of the scriptures that tell us that Jesus is planning to keep the promise He made in:

1 Thessalonians 5: 9

(9) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Now lets look at the 2nd coming:

Zechariah 14:

(4) And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

(5) And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Revelation 19: 11 thru 15

11) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

(12) His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

(13) And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

(14) And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

(15) And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Does that sound anything like the scriptures during the Rapture? If you still believe there will be no rapture it is because you don’t read the Bible to see what it says butt to verify what you believe!

God is very patient but even He has a limit to the stiff necked and stubborn actions that work to destroy His creation! It is in your best interest to change your course and accept the fact that Jesus is coming soon and to avoid the fate that the Jews earned it is time to not do as they did and hear what they heard in Luke 19: 41 thru 44

Luke 19: 41 thru 44

(42) Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

(43) For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,

(44) And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Accept Jesus today and look forward to a bright tomorrow!!!
